To meet the demand for human resources for Industry 4.0 and also take advantages of information technology, Faculty of IT - LHU has been taking efforts to participate in international projects with the desire to comprehensively innovate and strengthen teachers' qualification to catch up with 4.0 Education.

Recently, after the working session between LHU and the EMVITET Project Management Board (Empowering VET Teachers for Transformation towards Education 4.0) - a project of the Erasmus+ Programme funded by the European Community, the Faculty of IT (one of two technical departments of LHU) officially participates in the Project. The Project is implemented in three years (2019 - 2020). Accordingly, the Faculties will send lecturers to attend in a three-week training course in Finland in September.
Lecturers of FIT participate in EMVITET Project
In order to participate in the Project, lecturers must be proficient in English. This teaching staff will become a bridge with EMVITET for the purposes of Creating a new learning ecosystem for Education 4.0 in Vietnam, based on student-centered learning, capacity-based education, networking cooperation in a digital environment and sharing knowledge through practice community, Changing thinking and forming a network model connecting Vietnamese universities to meet 4.0 Education needs, Changing the thinking of teachers and learners and stakeholders to create a new operation way based on the extensive and close collaboration of the educational ecosystem and Changing education structures (curriculum, processes, management) to increase the support needed for learners.
Education 4.0 is a smart educational model, mainly linking factors schools - managers - entrepreneurs, facilitating innovation, creativity and productivity in the society.

This model also promotes the entrepreneurial spirit of lecturers and students, facilitating cooperation between university education and industrial production, efforts for regional and local economic development,... Education 4.0 helps teaching and learning activities happen anytime and anywhere, helping learners personalize, completely decide their learning according to their own needs.
In addition, Education 4.0 will help change thinking and approach to university model. University, in addition to a research and training institution, is a center for innovation, solving practical problems, bringing values to the society. The University is not only equipped with lecture halls, classrooms or laboratories, but also has to expand collaboration with businesses and the labor market to become an educational ecosystem.
Students are strengthened foreign languages to keep pace with the integration trend.
Currently, the Faculty of IT has been studying training programs of prestigious universities in the world, actively study and participate in training courses of Build IT, JICA and other educational organizations ... to build quality training programs. The Faculty especially requires its teaching staff actively innovate teaching methods and assessment methods to help learners maximize their roles in learning and research processes, thereby implementing the training programs according to AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network - Quality Assurance) and ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) standards in the coming time. With the efforts of teaching staff and the University's orientations, hopefully, the Faculty of IT will contribute to LHU to become an educational ecosystem as expected.
